Privacy Policy
 
Scope. This privacy policy covers all of MyWurld Inc., (“MW”, “MyWurld”, “we”) associated URL’s including MyWurld.com, MyWurld.net and all other Wurld URL’s. It also covers any other application, website, or service offered by MyWurld Inc. It does not, however, apply to organizations, entities, or individuals that MyWurld does not control or own, including Content, Applications and Websites created and controlled by others. By using or accessing MyWurld and its services, you agree to the privacy practices outlined below.

The MyWurld Website is a general audience site and does not knowingly collect UPI (described below) from children under 13 years of age.
 
Children under age 13—not permitted. If you are under 13, do not register for MyWurld or any service offered by MyWurld Inc., provide any personal information about yourself on or through the site or through any other site or portal which may provide your personal information to MW. Although as a public website, MW cannot control the deliberate actions of others, even children; MW deletes any and all information discovered to be posted by children under 13. If you believe MW might have any information from a child under age 13, please contact MW through the Contact Us page.
 
Parents. MW recommends minors 13 years of age or older ask their parents’ permission before registering with MW, using the site, or posting any Content. MW further recommends parents monitor all online activity of their minor children.
 
Policy. MyWurld, Inc. operates MyWurld.net, MyWurld.com and all other MyWurld branded intellectual property. This Privacy Policy describes MyWurld’s use, storage, posting, and sharing of user profile information (“UPI”-- your full name, email address, mailing address, telephone number, and/or credit card number) Members willingly and voluntarily provide to MyWurld when they register. The Term “User” refers to a Guest, Visitor or Member of MW—anyone who uses the site. This Privacy Policy applies to the services offered by MyWurld, including all pages and Content created by MW, also including any MyWurld-branded URL (collectively known as the “MyWurld Website”, “the website”, “services”), any Applications developed by MW, and any embedded technology such as music and/or digital players. It also applies to any mobile services developed and/or used by MW, instant messaging services provided by MW, and any other features, content, or applications offered from time to time, or developed now or in the future by MyWurld in connection with the MyWurld Website (collectively also known as the “MyWurld Services”).
 
Modifications. From time to time MyWurld may modify this Privacy Policy at its own discretion. Any such changes shall be effective upon posting by MyWurld on the MyWurld Website. Your continued use of the MyWurld Services after MyWurld posts a new Privacy Policy signifies your acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy. It is critical you review this Privacy Policy often to ensure you are updated to any changes. MW is hereby not required to notify you of the latest update to the Privacy Policy. If MyWurld changes its methods of collection or use of your UPI, your UPI will continue to be governed by this Policy regardless of changes to the Policy. Any objections you have to this Privacy Policy must be made in writing to MyWurld.
 
Information Posted. All the information and profile information you provide to MyWurld is at your own discretion and completely voluntary. MyWurld may ask for and collect additional UPI from you if you voluntarily participate in MyWurld Services events and/or activities like surveys, polls, contests, competitions, and sweepstakes. The collection of this information allows MyWurld to ensure it interacts as efficiently as possible with its Users. MW respects Users’ privacy to the fullest extent possible.
Users and Members must be aware that the information and Content they post on MW, and on the Internet in general may not ever be cancelled or eliminated from public circulation. Some information may be permanently part of the public domain. Users and Members must take precaution to carefully decide what information they post; MW is not responsible for User and Member decisions to post personal information. Users and Members post any and all information at their own discretion and risk.
 
MyWurld Members and Users at their discretion may provide or store UPI or non-UPI information in their MW profiles, including but not limited to hobbies, videos, pictures, digital content, blogs, comments, private messages, communities, passions, date of birth, interests, lifestyle choices, bulletins or personal statements (collectively “Profile Information”). The Profile Information in a Member’s profile is provided at his or her sole discretion and risk.
 
MyWurld Members and Users can change their UPI and Profile Information at any time. Members and Users can also control how Visitors, Guests, Members and other Users communicate with them by controlling their personal account and profile settings. Users consent to MyWurld collecting and storing other information which is readily available but not a part of the UPI, including IP address, user data, and browser type. MyWurld may use such data to track and improve MyWurld Services, gauge usage, infer trends, support the needs, desires, and usage of Members/Users, for security purposes, and to determine how best to allocate MW resources.
 
Cookies. Cookies are tiny pieces of information that MyWurld places on your computer. MyWurld uses cookies to store preferences, check for installed software necessary for proper function, access material on MyWurld, and to identify your Internet browser. Data in cookies may be read to authenticate user sessions or provide services.
 
Third party ads on MyWurld Services may also contain cookies set by Internet advertising companies or advertisers (collectively called “third party cookies”). MyWurld does not control third party cookies. Users of the MyWurld Services must check the privacy policy of any Internet ad company or advertiser to see how it uses cookies and how that may affect MW Users/Members. MyWurld may also allow third party pixel tags to be present on MyWurld Services for advertising purposes, providing services or data and statistics collection. Applications and Services offered by MyWurld (third party) partners and affiliates may also use cookies in the same fashion described above. MyWurld is not responsible for such third party use. Users should read third party policies and terms to be aware of their use of User information.
 
If you choose to block Cookies, you may not have access to certain features on the MyWurld Services. MyWurld may use cookies and similar tools to streamline the content placed on the portion of the site controlled by MyWurld, including advertising.
 
Limitations. MyWurld is not responsible for the privacy practices of other companies, entities, groups, or websites. If you leave MyWurld Services via a link or ad click-through, access a third party website, or widget you should check the applicable privacy policy of the third party or advertiser site to be sure your UPI will be protected. MyWurld Services will be linked or associated with Internet sites operated by others. MyWurld Services will also utilize advertisements from others. MyWurld may also link to other sites from time to time which may be owned or partially owned by MyWurld. Such sites may have their own privacy policies; Users should review those policies as well to ensure comfort and acceptability. MyWurld shall not be liable for any third party use of User information, including UPI, cookies, or any other User data.
 
It should be noted that some of the advertisements on MyWurld may be delivered by third party Internet advertising companies, brokers, networks, or sites (“companies”). These companies utilize technologies to deliver ads and marketing materials and to collect non-UPI about your use of MyWurld and affiliated or linked sites. Again, cookies are used in this respect as well.
 
MyWurld guards your privacy and security to the fullest extent possible. MyWurld however does not control third party developers. Therefore, Members are advised to take significant care when interacting with and engaging a third party application, widget, or other offering which is outside MyWurld control. MyWurld encourages Members to avoid sharing UPI with other parties.
 
Additional Terms. From time to time you may have privacy options on MyWurld available to you upon registration or continued use. MyWurld will not share your UPI with third parties unless you have given MyWurld permission to do so pursuant to your privacy selections. Except as described in this Privacy Policy, MyWurld will always get your permission before using UPI you provide in a way that is inconsistent with the purpose for which it was submitted. If MyWurld obtains UPI from a third party, such as a business partner, use of that information will also be governed by this Privacy Policy to the extent it is applicable.
 
You have the ability to select and deselect the forms of information you receive from MyWurld, including messages, newsletters, advertisements, texts, etc. These things are all within your control. MyWurld may share your UPI with partners, employees, companies, contractors, and affiliates (“Agents”) who work with MW in various capacities, including but not limited to: order fulfillment, statistical analyses, data processing, contest judging, prize fulfillment, promotions, sweepstakes, or other activities we deem necessary to manage MW business. Sharing of your private data will be in accordance with the ultimate goal to protect your privacy to the highest level possible while also providing you the service you need, desire, or agree to based on your use of the MW Services and/or participation in activities on the MW Services. If in your participation in applications, contests, or services on MW, you provide MW with information above and beyond your profile and privacy settings, then such information will be usable by MW for necessary business purposes. Users shall have no recourse regarding such situations; they knowingly and willingly provide such information. Other partners or affiliates of MW may temporarily store and use your information on their servers. They will be asked to, and contracted to use such information only in accordance with the MW Privacy Policy. However, MW cannot fully guarantee the actions of others; there is inherent risk in dealing with third party providers.
 
It should be noted that if MyWurld sells or transfers all or a portion of its business your UPI may be transferred to the party or parties involved in the transaction. Said purchaser may institute its own policies at that time. You will be notified should this occur. There may also be emergency instances when MyWurld is compelled to provide access to or disclose UPI, or other Member/User information which would typically violate the terms of this Privacy Policy. Under these extreme circumstances the Privacy Policy will be suspended. This may occur specifically in legal circumstances where MW is compelled to disclose certain information by a Court or judge with appropriate jurisdiction. Such instances may include, but not be limited to times and circumstances where MW is: (i) protecting or defending the rights or property of MyWurld, its affiliates, associates, agents, contractors, employees, subsidiaries, directors, Board Members, etc.; (ii) protecting the safety and security of individual or groups of Users and Members of the MyWurld Services or the public at large (iii) protecting against fraud or criminal activity; (iv) complying with laws which are now in effect or may come into effect from time to time; and/or (v)bound by a judgment, warrant, or other legal decision which requires the disclosure, sharing, review of UPI or non-UPI Content. In any/all cases described in this paragraph, MW shall have no liability to Users and Members and Users and Members shall have no recourse against MW.
 
Members and Users are responsible for complying with applicable laws and regulations in their own communities regarding the information and Content they supply to MW and post to the MW Services.
 
MyWurld at its discretion uses the latest technical, business, and industry methods to keep UPI accurate, secure, and complete. It also uses the necessary personnel to do the same. As such, UPI is available to a handful of individuals and/or entities. Said individuals are bound by law and by MW business practices and contracts to maintain the highest level of security for UPI. However, MW cannot guarantee the actions of others.
 
Your UPI is editable and changeable by you according to your username and password. However, MW reserves the right to make certain information a permanent and unchangeable portion of your profile in order to ensure safety and security (i.e., your date of birth, email address, gender, your user name, etc.). If you ask MyWurld to stop using your UPI, MyWurld will honor that request while retaining any record of your UPI that is necessary to comply with applicable federal, state or local law. Again, any information you have made public through MW may not be retrievable or retractable and may be a permanent part of the public record. Such information is provided at your own risk.
 
If due to changing technical, legal, economic, or political environments, MyWurld needs to reevaluate its Privacy Policy and make changes, such changes will be posted to the Privacy Policy on the MW website. Users have the responsibility to check the Privacy Policy regularly for changes.
 
Paragraph headers and titles herein are for reference purposes only. This Policy shall remain in effect regardless of the status of MyWurld incorporation or organization, whether incorporated in CA or any other state, whether unincorporated, an LLC, or any other form of entity.
